"... no matter the carve of the leg, Jack suffered no songwriting fools...." oh, what a perfect phrase!

I saw you, and met your music for the first time, last night in Roanoke. My world is larger for it... I look forward to hearing more, reading more, and seeing you perform again. Bellissima, indeed.

Hey sweetpea, I wish I could figure out how to squeeze more than fourteen people in my living room for a house concert. For you, I could make it work. Seriously.

In the meantime, I'm soaking in the house concerts here. http://nora-leona.blogspot.com/2011/01/house-concert-chad-mills.html

Amy,
Thanks for writing this piece. As someone who books a small venue capable of holding 80 but often drawing the 15, 20 or 25. I sometimes feel responsible that no matter how hard I try to promote these events or how talented the artist I book are that we can't guarantee a decent turnout. It's frustrating sometimes and makes me question why I'm doing it. It's good to hear that it is appreciated.

Steven Johnson
Comfy Couch Concerts
Wixom MI

@ Neale...and I could have mentioned hot tubs and late night conversations over scotch and purple plates and that a host of a house concert turned into one of my favorite friends to hang with at festivals and conferences and on off nights near Boston and at funky motel bars in Hillsdale, NY with Cliff and Ellis and a bottle of Jim Beam...:)

As I've probably told you my definition of success for an artist is not having a day job.

There are plenty of people that think you're a rock star.
